Those crazy girls rode this ride that spins them in all kinds of directions. They loved it. Paige screamed the whole time and Veronica just relaxed.

Paige and Matthew getting Pedicures. We took a family outing to the nail salon before Matthew left for his business trip.

Veronica waiting for her turn.

The school had a roller skating fund raiser. It was Veronica and Paige's first times skating.

Monday was Dr. Suess's birthday. We celebrated at the school. Here they are reading under the stars.

Veronica is waiting in the gym to win her new pencil/pen combo.

Paige won a pen with all the different colors that push down from the top. (remember those)

Veronica wanted to show Matthew her new hairstyle, so we took a picture because he's on a business trip.

Today is Friday.
We are having the time of our lives lately.
Saturday we went to our friend Steve's birthday party at Dave and Busters. It was so nice to see our friends we haven't seen in so long. Veronica and Paige played the arcade games
and Veronica won a jackpot of tickets. Our final count was 774 tickets.

We went into the little ticket store and picked almost what ever we wanted.
SWEET! We left w/ six trinkets. That's quite a lot for a ticket store.
Thank goodness they had those balloons tied to their wrists. One moment Matthew looked at me and realized he didn't have the girls and I didn't have the girls. He ran into the very large, very crowded arcade area and he saw the four balloons floating through the games. They led him right to the girls.
Sunday we went to Tucson to watch the Superbowl w/ Matthew's brother and his fiancé.
We had super fun. They were prepared w/ 3D glasses for the commercials and homemade pizza and shrimp we ate until we were stuffed. The game was so loud Paige and I had to yell to hear eachother and the screen was big. It was The perfect way to watch the Superbowl.
Our Cards made a valiant effort and we are proud of them.
Congratulations Cousin Jamie on your Steelers.
Monday I took Paige to the dentist to fill two cavities. I brought my ipod w/ the spongebob movie on it to keep her occupied. She was nervous about the shot all day. We talked about how they would numb it w/ the qtip first and we talked to the dentist about it. He told her he was going to give her mouth some sleepy juice and I high fived her when he finished giving her the shot. She didn't even know he just gave her the shot. She was so relieved to know it wasn't as bad as she expected. The dentist and the assistant laughed about having to work around the ipod for the two cavities, and at one point he said he might have to get one for the office. He said it's much easier working around the ipod than it is working w/ a scared, squirmy child.
We'll have to remember to bring it for Veronica's appt next week.
Tuesday Matthew and I dropped the girls off at church school and leisurely shopped at Sam's Club until it was time to pick them up again.
Wednesday, Veronica, Paige and Bronwynn made a movie. They started on the movie. Browynn wrote a story and I told them they could use my camera to act it out. They are about 3/4 through the movie so they will work on it tonight or soon.
Thursday Veronica and Paige went to dance class and practiced their recital dance. I saw a picture of the costumes. They are going to be soooo cute. They're already cute, they'll just be more cute. I took a walk w/ my friend Alicia while the girls danced. Alicia is due to have a baby next week. We're so excited!
Last night after dance, there was a package at the door. My Grandma Louise
sent us a cat in the hat monopoly game. We started playing last night, but as we all know, it is the never ending game. We left it to start again next chance we get. This is what is waiting for us:

Notice, Paige has created herself a shrine.
Today the girls are at school and Matthew is at work. He really seems to be enjoying his new position. It's a challenge and takes up all his thoughts and at the same time he's having a ball.
My Medical Transcription course is chugging along. I'm learning about the digestive system. It's quite a lot to know and I still take it one day at a time.
I finished telling the story about the little girl in the big house, while we walked to the bus stop, and they asked me to tell them more about the little girl. So now I'm telling them about the little girl in the big basement. So far she has gone down the spiral stairs, played in the double decker play park and jumped in a room full of balloons.
Today the girls left for school in short sleeves and capris. I love our 80 degree winters. :p

Matthew made castles for the girls for Christmas.
